Final Model #7 – Coin Chamber

 

This is the beginning of making the back half of DON-8r - the coin chamber and trolley wheels. The wheels are attached through a couple of snug holes securing them in place. The chamber is made up of lots of panels of scrap, white plastic designed to funnel the coins towards the opening:

I have the funnel part raised up as I intended to cut a window into the back of the robot however have run out of time to get that done. Figured it would take a long time as I would then have to make the inside of the robot look pretty (…which it does not).

I might come back to that If I decided I have the time later on down the line but it may well be more trouble then it is worth.
